We tend to do all our meetings virtually via teams and the frequency of these depend on the service you require.

As we process financial data we’re obligated to follow AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks which involves checking your ID, which is then logged with our AML Supervisors – The Institute of Accountants and Bookkeepers.

We would prefer you to keep your accounting information on cloud software, which we can help you set up as this makes it easier to process and store your receipts and financial information. However, if you would prefer to use a spreadsheet, this can be discussed during the onboarding process.

We have various packages available to either set-up on cloud accounting software, transfer to another software or we can provide training to help you set it up yourself.

We can include software fees as part of your monthly bookkeeping package or we can help you set this up yourself.

Our preferred accounting software is Quickbooks Online, however, we are happy and trained to use Xero, FreeAgent, Sage and other cloud accounting softwares.

Most cloud accounting software providers will also include a mobile app for you to upload receipts, record and review your accounts.

Some cloud accounting software will have mileage trackers included or there are alternative stand alone apps, we can help you with setting this up if it’s something you require.

We aim to have accounts complete within 3 months of receipt, however, we can complete them quicker if required.

We require payment upfront via bank transfer, we will send you a payment link with your invoice to help set this up.

I have worked with a variety of different sized businesses and industries through my career as a bookkeeper/accountant/financial controller in both practice and industry.

We follow the GDPR regulations. Data is stored securely on password protected cloud software. We are a paperless practice and don’t hold any physical paper copies of your documentation, if we ever need to print documents these are shredded immediately after use.

We will carry out AML checks and send you a letter of engagement to confirm the services that you require and the fees you will be charged. Once the LOE has been signed and AML checks complete, we will start the process of bringing you onboard as a client.

You have the option to end your contract at any time by providing a written notice of 30 days. Any work carried out until that point will be billed to you at the conclusion of the 30-day period. Additionally, if you have any software agreements, you may need to fulfil the remaining term as specified in your letter of agreement.

I have completed an Advanced Diploma in Accounting with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).  

Yes, we are more than happy to assist you with your payroll requirements.

Yes, we are able to process your VAT returns using accounting software, ensuring it is MTD (making tax digital) compliant.

We can provide a monthly report if you chose this as part of your service package. We can also have options to choose a different frequency and whether you require a meeting/video to support the report data.

No, this is no problem at all, we offer a bookkeeping catch-up service if required.

You can send your paperwork to us via our client portal or via email.

We will strive to process your accounts promptly to meet HMRC deadlines. Nonetheless, if you fail to provide the necessary paperwork on time resulting in incomplete processing, you will be responsible for any HMRC late fees incurred.
